We are pleased to announce our inaugural Classical Arabic Program!
Arabic is a key that unlocks the meanings of the Quran, the Prophetic teachings, and the Islamic scholarly tradition. The goal of our program is for students to attain proficiency in reading, understanding, writing, and speaking of the language such that they are prepared for an elementary study of sacred knowledge.
In addition, students will receive instruction in Quranic Recitation (Tajwid), memorize portions of the Quran, and study the individual obligations of the foundational Islamic sciences. In a serene atmosphere that facilitates concentration and dedication, we also hope to help students develop good religious habits such as prayer in congregation and regular devotions.
Classes will begin Monday, September 17th, 2018 and end on Friday, May 24, 2019.
Registration opens July 1st, 2018
