Madrasa Al-Nash' Al-Ṣāliḥ Waitlist: How it Operates

When the Madrasa reaches its enrollment capacity, a waitlist will be initiated for the ongoing academic year. Applications will be ordered on the waitlist based on the time of submission through an automated timestamp.

When a vacancy arises, the Madrasa team will contact the parents of the next student on the waitlist and initiate the registration process. Families on the waitlist will receive notifications through phone and/or email using the provided contact details. Parents will have a 48-hour window to confirm the vacancy via email to the Madrasa administration and proceed with enrollment. Parents are encouraged to update the Madrasa with any changes in their contact information to ensure effective communication for potential openings. The Madrasa cannot be held responsible for incorrect contact information, emails being directed to spam folders or any technical challenges.

To secure space in the program, applicants must complete the registration form within the deadline set by the Madrasa.

Should parents decline the offer, their child will be removed from the waitlist, and the spot will be extended to the next student on the list. Parents are requested to inform Madrasa if they wish to withdraw their child from the waitlist, ensuring its accuracy. It's important to note that the waitlist does not carry over to the following academic year; it is solely used to fill openings during the current year. A fresh waitlist is created each year.

Madrasa Al-Nash' Al-Ṣāliḥ Admission Priority Criteria

The admissions process for Madrasa Al-Nash' Al-Ṣāliḥ will give priority consideration to the following categories of students:

  • Returning Students:

    • Students who have completed a full year and re-enroll after the summer break will be given priority. This does not apply to students who left the program for personal reasons.

  • Children of Madrasa Founding Members, Teachers, Staff, and Board:

    • Priority is extended to children of Madrasa Founding Members, Teachers, Staff, and Board members.

    • Children of Madrasa teachers, staff, and board will be placed on the waitlist with preference over non-sibling/non-staff students on the waitlist.

    • Submission of a Registration Interest Form before the open enrollment period's closure is necessary for children of teachers, staff, and board.

  • Siblings of Enrolled Students:

    • A sibling is defined as an individual residing at the same address and sharing one of the following connections:

      • Common parent(s)

      • Step-sibling

      • Legally adopted sibling

      • Child under foster care/legal guardianship of parents

    • Siblings of current students must submit a Registration Interest Form before the open enrollment period ends.

    • If a current student withdraws before a sibling is offered enrollment, the sibling's priority admission eligibility will be forfeited.

    • Sibling enrollment isn't guaranteed and depends on available space. If no slot is available, a sibling is placed at the top of the waitlist.

NOTE: Cousins, nieces, nephews, and unrelated children sharing an address are not considered siblings.

  • Children of Current Al-Maqasid Seminary Students:

    • Parents who are currently enrolled as full-time students in the Al-Maqasid Seminary are considered.

Note: This doesn't include siblings or relatives of seminary students.

These admission priority criteria aim to ensure fair consideration for various groups within the Madrasa community and maintain transparency in the enrollment process.
