Position Summary: (IN-office or Remote position available)

The Digital Content Creator conceptualizes, plans, creates, and implements content strategies across all social media platforms. Your primary goal is to enhance brand visibility, engage our current and growing audience and drive user interaction. As a Digital Content Creator, you'll play a pivotal role in conceptualizing, researching, developing, and executing video assets that resonate with our audience and align with our Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Your work will focus on short-form videos, short films, utilizing in-house content and stock footage. 


This is a work/study position where you will be trained by award-winning filmmaker, Mustafa Davis,  and work alongside an award-winning production team.  This is a flexible (part-time) remote content creator position with weekly online training sessions in filmmaking and digital media.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Develop and create high-quality, visually appealing, and engaging content for our website and social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, Telegram, and others.

  • Visual Storytelling: Utilize multimedia elements, including images, video, animation, and graphics to create compelling creative content.

  • Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, high-quality videos that align with Al-Maqasid production  guidelines and objectives.

  • Develop graphic design concepts for use in social media, flyers, brochures, email, and display advertising that align with the ProcessUnity brand.

  • Ensure timely delivery of video projects, adhering to project deadlines and client expectations.

  • Collaborate effectively with team members to gather feedback and make necessary revisions to video projects.

  • Maintain organized file management systems to facilitate efficient workflow and collaboration within the team.

  • Collaborate with Media Director and Media Team to execute a data-driven social media strategy across various platforms aligning with channel growth goals and Al-Maqasid’s overall media and marketing objectives.

  • Platform Content Calendar Management: Develop and maintain a content calendar across all social channels to ensure a consistent posting schedule, balancing promotional, creative and educational content with lifestyle posts while growing an engaged audience.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with other media team members, including graphic designers, video editors, and copywriters to ensure cohesive and integrated campaigns.

  • Monitor and manage social media accounts, including posting schedules, responding to comments, and maintaining a consistent ethos. 

  • Trend Analysis Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, social media algorithms and strategies to ensure content remains relevant, effective and engaging to our audience.

  • Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of social media campaigns.

  • Community Engagement: Foster and nurture a community around our organizational culture and ethos  by actively engaging with followers, responding to comments, and participating in relevant conversations.

  • Follow internal processes, execute editing requests efficiently, and maintain communication with team members.

Qualifications

  • Deep alignment with Islamic principles and the mission of Al-Maqasid.

  • 2+ years of experience in content creation, with a focus on photo editing, graphic design, and video editing.

  • Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills and creativity.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience in Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Sony Vegas, and Adobe Audition is a plus.

  • Experience with fundamental graphic design principles (Emphasis, Balance/Alignment, Contrast, Color Theory, Repetition, Proportion, Movement, and Whitespace)

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, and Canva.

  • Strong grasp of AI creative platforms and ability to use AI tools in content creation. 

  •  Strong understanding of social media platforms and their content requirements

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Experience in content shooting (photography/videography) is mandatory.

  • Graphic design: Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva. This includes designing layouts, selecting appropriate fonts, colors, and images, and creating illustrations or infographics.

Commitment

The Production Coordinator conceptualizes, plans, creates, and manages creative productions. They implement content strategies across social media platforms seeking to enhance brand visibility, engage our current and growing audience and drive user interaction. As a Production Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining strict production schedules as well as conceptualizing, researching, developing, and executing video assets that resonate with our audience and align with our Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Your work will focus on live-streams, lecture series, short- form videos, short films, utilizing in-house content and stock footage.


Duties and responsibilities

Studio / Production Management

  • Assist with on-set and on-location operations, ensuring smooth, timely execution.

  • Track media assets, organize footage logs, and assist in delivering final content.

  • Maintain and update production schedules from pre-production to post-production across multiple projects.

  • Manage media staff and volunteers’ production schedules, assignments, and deliverables.

  • Organize logistics for documentary shoots, studio recordings, and live streams, including locations, equipment rentals, crew coordination, and travel arrangements.

  • Create and distribute production documents, including schedules, call sheets, tracking reports.

  • Track project budgets and expense reporting.

  • Manage the Al-Maqasid studio space and coordinate studio production.

    Social Media & Communications

  • Manage and maintain the company’s social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Tik Tok, etc).

  • Create and schedule posts that promote projects, live streams, film releases, and behind-the-scenes content.

  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging digital content aligned with studio ethos and production goals.

  • Monitor engagement metrics and adjust strategies to maximize reach and impact.

    Administrative Support

  • Maintain and update project management tools to track tasks, deadlines, and deliverables.

  • Monitor and report on analytics and metrics.

  • Support budget tracking, invoice management, and expense reporting.

  • Assist with preparing weekly production reports for Executive Team.

  • Collaborate with Media Director and Media Team to execute a data-driven social media strategy across various platforms aligning with channel growth goals and Al- Maqasid’s overall media and marketing objectives.

  • Experience color grading with an understanding of white balance, color correction, and color theory.

Position Summary: (In-office - Macungie, PA)

The Qur’an Hifz Teacher  is responsible for assisting students with the memorization, proper pronunciation, retention, and understanding of Qu’ran.  The Qur’an teacher will help build the Hifz program and develop the curriculum. They will work with individuals and groups from age 7 to adult in our Formal Learning programs (Madrasa, Academy, and Seminary).


Duties and responsibilities

1. TEACHING
A. Focus on Quran Hifdh and Tajweed, working with groups and individuals.
B. Prepare course long range plan, Hifdh plans and homework materials.
C. Develop and utilize proper tools and techniques to aid students in the memorization of the Qur’an.
D. Be able to adapt the Hifdh course plan to each student’s ability and potential.
E. Maintain appropriate standards of behavior, mutual respect, and safety within the classroom.
F. Evaluate each student and create teaching strategies based on the individual’s pace.
G. Track progress of each student and maintain detailed records of progress.
H. Follow a process for formal and informal ongoing assessment of students, including report cards, progress reports and marking. Feedback to be provided to students and administration.
I. Discuss students' progress and concerns with parents and administrators.

2. PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT
A. Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials and developing curriculum for effective teaching.
B. Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to program development, assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
C. Stay current with advancements in their discipline.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or equivalent experience (Ijaaza) in teaching Qur’an.

  • Experience teaching Quran with proper Tajweed

POSITION SUMMARY
The Al-Maqasid Arabic Instructor will be responsible for teaching the
Seminary students Arabic across all years using the Al-Maqasid
curriculum. This instruction encompasses teaching them grammar,
morphology, rhetoric, poetry, and classical Arabic literature
appropriate for their level. The Arabic Instructor may be asked to
teach classes for Al-Maqasid Madrasa or Academy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Teaching:
