Position Summary: (In-office - Macungie, PA)

The Programs Manager is a dynamic individual responsible for the effective implementation, management, supervision, and evaluation of all Al-Maqasid programs. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Programs Manager will ensure that program objectives are met and aligned with the organization's mission and standards.


Duties and responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing Al-Maqasid Daily Prayers, Events, Gatherings, Retreats, Seminars, and all programs and personnel that fall under the purview of these programs.

  • Assist the Executive Director in creating policies and procedures for Al-Maqasid programs.

  • Analyze trends in programs, identify issues, and develop and recommend solutions.

  • Identify opportunities for program enhancements based on community needs and organizational priorities.

  • Compile, maintain, and report on monthly, quarterly,  and annual program statistics.

  • Collaborate with other departments to capture programs details into technology platforms (e.g., CRM)

  • Identify key personnel to serve as coordinators, staff, or volunteers for programs.

  • Direct, plan, and coordinate the work of the Programs personnel including valuation, training, and team building.

  • Organize and chair regular meetings to maintain effective communication via weekly meetings and standardized communication channels.

  • Experience in planning, leading, and managing projects, including coordinating with peers to achieve desired outcomes, and tracking and reporting on progress to senior directors.

  • Experience managing teams and individuals and ability to lead by example and maintain a spirit of camaraderie and mutual respect. 

  • Strong problem solving and group work leadership skills.

Commitment

It is expected that the Programs Manager will require a minimum of 40 hours per week.
