Al-Maqasid will be accepting applications beginning January 15, 2024 until May 15, 2024. Once an application has been submitted, students will be required to submit a written and oral placement test within two weeks of applying, which will be provided by the administration as Step 2 of the application process. Students will be notified of the status of the application by the dates shown below depending on when they apply.

The application will take anywhere between 30-60 minutes, please allow for this time when filling out the application. All applicants will be required to:

  • Answer background questions

  • Provide a copy of a government-issued ID

  • Attach personal statement

  • Attach a CV/Resume

  • Provide contact information for 3 references

During the regular and late registration windows, any available seats remaining will be offered to the strongest applicants. Applicants who are not given a seat but meet the admission requirements will be placed on a waitlist. Should seats become available, applicants on the waitlist will be sent an offer of admission by May 30th.

Placement on the waitlist and notification of available seats will be on a "first-come, first-serve" basis. Once an applicant on the waitlist is contacted with an offer of admission, they will have a limited window of time to accept or decline the offer. The email will specify the window of time.
